Lucky Coins

Lucky Coins is one of those games I opened expecting five minutes and put down forty minutes later. The core idea is a grid of coins that you slide in four directions, and when three or more line up by color they clear off the board. Simple to grasp, but the later boards throw in locked tiles and limited moves that make you plan two or three steps ahead.

Controls are pure swipe, which suits the phone perfectly. You drag a whole row or column at once, and the animation is smooth enough that chaining clears feels satisfying rather than fiddly. There's a gentle undo button that saved me from a lot of misclicks on the bus.

What I liked most is how relaxed it stays. There's no timer breathing down your neck on the standard mode, and everything runs offline once installed. Progress saved locally on my phone every time, so I never lost a board mid-commute.
